Leads Approved for Sale in Japan

December 19th, 2007 · No Comments

Medtronic’s new version of leads for the Quattro defibrillator have been approved for sale in Japan. These are now the only leads available in Japan made by Medtronic since the recall of the Fidelis leads in October.

The new leads contain steroids which they release into the arteries to reduce inflammation.

In October, Medtronic recalled their other leads and aknowledged that the deaths of 5 patients were related to their leads breaking.

If you or someone you know has been fitted with Fidelis leads made by Medtronic, contact the Medtronic Lawsuit Attorneys of Williams Kherkher at 1-866-950-9000 to discuss your legal options and to schedule a free initial consultation.
