Medtronic Shows New Campus

January 24th, 2008 · No Comments

Earlier this month, Medtronic showcased its new $95 million facility in Mounds View, MN, which will house the headquarters of its cardiac rhythm disease management wing. With 1.2 million square feet of space on 84 acres of land, the new campus is Medtronic’s largest, boasting a concentration of 3,000 workers, with more to come.

The building, completed in fall 2007, consists of three eight-story towers connected by 30 foot glass hallways and a five-level parking garage with over 4,000 spaces. Among the complex’s amenities are a coffee shop, a US Bank branch, a MinuteClinic with CVS Pharmacy service, an onsite childcare center with capacity for 116 children, and even oil change services courtesy of Lube N’ Go. . The luxurious accommodations are a testimony to the success of Medtronic’s top products: implantable defibrillators and pacemakers, despite recent lawsuits over faulty wire leads.

If you or a loved one has been affected by a faulty defibrillator or other Medtronic product, don’t let the size of the company intimidate you. Call the legal experts at Williams Kherkher to schedule a free initial consultation with a Medtronic lawsuit attorney.
